NURSERY TUITION SCHEDULE

Waiting List
Please note that priority will be given to full time students. Should a waiting list develop, current part-time students will be given first choice on the available full-time slot; otherwise, the part-time slot will be surrendered to a family on the waiting list who plans to enroll full-time.

Registration Fees
There is a non-refundable annual registration fee, which is due every September 1st. This fee covers licensing fees, accreditation fees, and administration costs. See chart below for the appropriate registration fee:

Please note: Should a parent choose to terminate enrollment and then re-enroll prior to the end of the school year, then the responsible party will be re-billed the registration fee at the time of enrollment.

Discounts
First Family Academy will honor two different discounts.


• Sibling Discount of 10% off the weekly rate on the oldest enrolled child.
  
•  First Family Church Members will receive a 10% off the weekly rate on the oldest enrolled child. Please note that an FFC Member is considered to be a tithing church member who is in good standing and faithfully attends church on a weekly basis.
  
  

Personal Days
As a courtesy to our families, First Family Academy will offer five (5) days per school year that may be used for days that your child is not in attendance due to sickness or on vacation. These days must be requested by the parent. Parents may also use personal days on Holidays when the academy is closed.

PRESCHOOL/PRE-K TUITION SCHEDULE (Does NOT include camps)

A variety of schedules are available for the Early Learning Center . See Director for specific details on our rates.

Part-time Schedules

As a courtesy to some of our families, we will offer some part-time slots only within the Early Education Center . In these cases, a child may attend an AM slot or a PM slot. The day will be split at the noon hour. Parents will have a 15-minute window in which to pick up their child before a full day charge is assessed to the responsible party account.

Preschool students will be responsible for a $25 book fee so that curriculum workbooks will be ordered for each child.  Due: August 15, 2008.

ELEMENTARY TUITION SCHEDULE

***Please note: Should you choose to pay the weekly rate, you will be billed for every week during the school term, whether the school is in session or not.  Example: Spring Break, Christmas Break, etc).

• In an effort to plan for the upcoming school year, the registration deadline is June 15th. 
• As of June 15th, letters will be mailed out to parents giving them an opportunity to finalize their enrollment, with calls to follow.  If payment is not received, enrollment reservation will be dropped, unless arrangements have been made between the school principal and parent.
• Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Re-Enrollment for Current families

Preferred enrollment is given to our current families during the months of February and March.  A student is officially “enrolled” when the registration fee is paid in full. 

1. As of April, enrollment is open to the public.
2. If a current family has not enrolled during the February and March deadline, they will be given the same treatment as a “new” or incoming parent.  Enrollment is based upon a first-come-first-serve basis.  As a class fills, a waiting list will be started.  Parents will be notified in the order of the date of their enrollment.
3. If a current enrollment is not secured for your child by the registration deadline, but parent decides to enroll prior to the start of school, then the parent will be responsible for both the registration fee AND a reinstatement fee of $25.  Furthermore, parent runs the risk of being placed on a wait list should one exist. 

Extended Care:

1. Extended care is considered any care past 3:30 pm.  Please note that school will close at 5:30PM.   
2. Cost: $25/week in addition to your weekly tuition rate.

First Family Academy recognizes that it may be difficult to provide care for your school age child during in-service days, winter break, spring break, and summer.  Beginning in the fall, FFA is pleased to provide families with an alternative program for their child.  Special activities will be offered during this time so that your child is engaged in an exciting program while you are at work.

PRE-K Book Fee

Camp options for Christmas Break, Spring Break, and Summer Break

1. By reservation only.
2. School Hours for Christmas Break, Spring Break, and Summer Break will be 7:30-5:30pm.  

Automatic Billing:

All parents (nursery, preschool, and elementary) will be required to enroll in Tuition Express for automatic billing in order to attend FFA.  Should you fail to enroll in Tuition Express, your account will be charged a $5.00 convenience fee per week. 

Late Payment Fee will apply

In the rare case where an account balance should accrue, all accounts will be automatically charged a late payment fee of $25 for all tuition not paid by Tuesday of each week.  If payment is not dropped off in the office prior to the close of day, it is considered late and a late payment fee will be charged to the parent account.  Accounts will not exceed one month of billing.  Furthermore, students will not be allowed to continue attending FFA if payment arrangements are not made to pay off account balance in a timely manner. 

Year-End Account Balances

We are called to be good stewards of our money.  With that said, we as an academy, must operate for the good of the ministry.  Therefore, payment policies have been set in place so that teacher salaries may be paid, supplies purchased, and general costs paid.  EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: All accounts should be left in good standing prior to the end of the year.  Should account not be paid-in-full, the following will result:

1. Cumulative Records will not be released
2. Final Report card will not be released
3. Student will not be eligible to march during graduation
4. Student enrollment will be terminate

Notices

All parents are required to give a two-week notice for any cancellations and or schedule changes.  This policy is based upon the teacher’s need to plan and prepare for specific curriculum needs. 

Late Pick-Up Fee

First Family Academy closes at 5:30 PM.  It is imperative that the office be notified as soon as possible if a parent is going to be late for any reason.  For every fifteen (15) minutes, a $5.00 charge will be assessed to the parent account for each child.  If the parent/guardian fails to notify the school, academy management will make every effort to reach the responsible party and/or emergency contacts.  If the Academy is unable to reach responsible parties by 6:00 PM, the proper authorities will be notified.

First Family will be closed on the following Holidays:

1. New Years Eve
2. New Years Day
3. Good Friday
4. Memorial Day
5. Independence Day
6. Labor Day
7. Thanksgiving (Thursday, and Friday)
8. Christmas Eve
9. Christmas Day
